NCNC Age Group Scholarship Opportunity

Applications for the NCNC Sponsorship Programme must be made by 1st May 2022

NCNC has initiated a scholarship opportunity for a player or players that have been selected for the U18 team to represent the Centre at the Netball New Zealand National Event.

This scholarship is available to prospective and current eligible representative player/s. NCNC would like to offer the full cost of the programme to 1 player or depending on the application 2 players where their costs will be halved. Players that are facing disadvantage or inequitable access to representative netball should apply.

In return, the recipient/s will volunteer their time to the Centre in an appropriate manner utilising their skills. This will be negotiated with the Netball Manager and likely to be 10 to 20 hours as a volunteer (over the season.) This will be over and above the team’s voluntary time for junior netball festival days!

The applicant will need to apply in writing outlining their family circumstances and any barriers that affect their ability to participate. All correspondence will be private and confidential to the Rep Subcommittee.

Successful applicant/s will be contacted in a timely manner by a member of the Rep subcommittee.

With permission, NCNC would like to be able to publish the recipient/s success and be able to use this in promotional material to attract future applicants promoting the support that is available through the Centre!

NCNC reserves the right to NOT award a scholarship if circumstances arise.
